Automatic transmissions in the Mustang GT are characterized by very fast operation, which generates significant amounts of heat. During intensive driving, transmission oil temperature can rapidly exceed the safe range, resulting in delayed paddle shift response and the gearbox entering limp mode. We are designing the Restomotive cooling kit to permanently eliminate this phenomenon.
